Bear and Unicorn hats

Here is where I started making character hats. I made unicorns for the girls and teddy bears for the boys 

These hats will keep you warm, but they double as a costume to play in

Bear Hat

Co 20 stitches

Knit 1”

Decreases 

Odd rows: K2tog knit K2tog 

Knit even rows

***after 14, decrease each row by 2

When you get to 4 stitches, K1 K2tog K1

Take the 3 stitches and begin icord

Icord 10”

Knit kfb knit

Increase kfb knit kfb repeat until 10 sts

Use tentacles from Octopus pattern, 

but with different lengths

*HAT SEWING: first sew ears, then bangs, then horn, sew hair last, making sure there’s no gap between bangs & back hair
